Club boat dive to the Hilda wreck, but as we headed out of the bay, it was quite sloppy, and as the Hilda is not a great dive, I decided to take Xavier, Alan and Cory to Bypass Reef. We anchor and the current was strong, very strong, we up anchored and ducked into Minmi Trench. A nice dive in 18° water but only 5m vis. Found a Blue Devilfish in the overhang on the sand line.
Second dive was to Whale Watch Platform, here we had 10-12m vis but the water was a little colder at 17°. A very nice dive. A small, juvenile Blue Devilfish in the first cave around 100mm long and a pair of adults in the second cave. Also found a Wobbegong under a ledge north of the Amphitheatre, and a few Cuttlefish under the overhangs.
