We headed north of Botany Bay towards Little Bay and saw a small drop off from 15m to 20m on the bottom finder. I marked it on the GPS and we dropped anchor. Unfortunately the current was very strong, to strong to dive. (For another day). So we headed back to Botany Bay and Minmi Trench. The surface temperature was 21° but on the way down it quickly dropped to 15° very cold. I donned my hood when I reached the bottom. Not a lot of fish around but visibility was ok at 8-10m.
On our second dive we took a look at the Henry Head Sponge gardens. Been a long time since I dived here. Its a very large sponge garden between 18-22m depth with a lot of our normal Nudi friends. Again very cold at 15°
