We headed to Port Kembla to dive the Bombo Wreck, shipping movements were favourable. We anchored over the wreck and could see a good 10m straight down. We headed sown in 23° water and great vis until we hit 16m. The vis dropped to 1m and the water went a dark brown. At 22m the vis opened up to about 8m, all be it very dark. We headed into the penetration out of the top around past the prop and then to the bow. A cuttle fish under some wreckage and a Wobbegong on the bow. A nice dive.
Pig Island for our second dive was gloomy, vis around 4m and a very big surge, we looked around for about 20m and then headed back up.
