Being out of the water for 4 weeks, with only an aquarium dive in Singapore under my belt, its good to get back into the water. Heinz and myself headed to Bypass Reef. The water was that nice deep bluey purple colour, the seas flat and a slight wind, ideal conditions for diving. I had 20m visibility on the bottom. The anchor was 15m East of the southern caves so I headed over to the Seahorses. Its good to see the Red one back. Lots of PJ's lazing around and a nice Wobbegong under a rock. Also a Blue Devil fish out in the open.
Whale Watch Platform again was 20m visibility, lots of fish in the caves and overhangs, weedy Sea Dragons in the weed beds, one with eggs, and an attacking Cuttlefish in the weeds, it hit me from behind and covered my head. Attacked twice until I give it a push with my strobes.
