We headed to Port Kembla to check out a few GPS marks I have, Flagstaff Reef & Wollongong Reef, bot turned out to be nothing. We did get a dive on the Bombo. After anchoring, we noticed the water was brown so we didn't expect much. On the way down the brown turned into green and once on the bottom, we noticed it was much light a night dive. Visibility around 3-5m. We hung around the boiler, engine and prop for the whole dive and we were buzzed by a seal a few times.
The water colour was better here than the Bombo, but it was green, visibility around 5-8m. Another or maybe the same seal buzzed us quite a few times here. Have a couple of photos, courtesy of Peter Flockart
