Home Back

Planed for Bypass Reef but the swells were to large, we looked at Whale Watch, and to sloppy, so we headed to the Leap. Le Scat turned up at the same time. Visibility wasn't great, 2m and a little surge. Nothing great, only took a few pics.

After the surface interval, we looked at Bypass Reef again, the swells seems to have dropped, and the water looked fantastic. We anchored, geared up and dropped over the side, we could see a long way down. Leo was heading down the anchor rope and at 15m he started to disappear. The visibility closed in to 1m, we got to the bottom and the surge was pushing us 3m in each direction. I signalled to Leo up, so we aborted and headed up.
