Home Back

Although the weather in Sydney was overcast and light rain Rudy and myself wanted to get on the Tuggerah after a few failed attempts. We believe Leo was the jinx. He had to pull out so it Just left Rudy and myself. We nailed it today, the anchor dropped 10m north of the boiler between the hull ribs. Near the anchor we found a Cuttlefish under some decking, heading to the prop a Wobbegong was sitting off in the sand, I swam over to it, and disturbed it and it swam back to the wreck past Rudy. Another large Wobbegong was sitting on the rudder, this one looked pregnant. The visibility was around 20m and it would have been better if the Sun was out.

Second dive at Marley Point, the visibility here was greater than 20m, you could make out the boat at 20m. After descending we swam over to the cave then up through the pass into the shallows where we were met by 1000's of fish, Yellowtail, Pike, Bullseyes. Swimming north through the canyons, with more fish we found a few PJ's.
