Unsure what the water conditions were going to be like after a week of rain, Heinz decided not to come along, and Rudy with the Flu, just left Leo and myself. We headed to M & K reef where the surface was a little sloppy, but looking ok. We anchored and set up the drop line, and we could see the weight at 10m at the end of the rope. we descended into 12m of vis on the bottom. We we anchored on the northern side of the small cave. We headed south to the cave where we found a Cuttlefish and a Blue Devil Fish, at times the vis got to 15m.
The seas got a little larger after our surface interval, se we decided to dive the Leap. Anchored off the large metal staircase we headed west what we thought would have been against the outgoing tide, but the current actually carried us along. After about 15mins we swam back to the anchor and past it east with the tide, and again the current seemed to be going the wrong direction. Vis was around 10m and we found a nice mourning Cuttle.
