On a 2 week break from work and I needed some km's on my car so my wife and I decided to go north to visit my parents at the Gold Coast. We broke the drive up and stopped at South West Rocks so I could dive the cave. The conditions were quite nice with fairly flat seas and visibility ranging from 10-25m.
First dive was at the shark gutters, where I quick counted about 30 sharks, some very large. The were also lots of Wobbegongs around. I counted 18 of them. Second dive through the cave. I was diving with a group of Bondi divers with twins. It is suppose to be single file through the cave, but one of these guys just pushed past me in a narrow section, caught the fibre cable to my strobe and just kept going. He had no idea, and they let these guys dive with twins.
