Today we tried..... We actually got to Middle Ground, anchor hooked in first go. After the backward roll I looked back and could see the weight at the bottom of the drop line 10m below. I thought to myself this was going to be good......

At 20m I could see, what I thought was the dark patches of the reef, still descending it got darker and darker and then I hit the bottom, couldn't see it. Visibility was around 1m max.

We headed east for about 10m with a reel tied off and Heinz signalled, "all over" so we headed back to the anchor, then a nice Wobbegong shark stopped and nestled itself in a crevice beside me, I shot of a few frames and we headed back to the anchor, and ascended.
