There was a club boat dive scheduled today, but was called off due to weather and possible bad visibility. The weather was fine, but..... There is always a but, the visibility wasn't great.

We headed to Port Kembla as we thought is would be our best bet considering the 1.03m of rain that fell through the week. we headed to Pig Island in fantastic conditions, anchored on our gps marks, geared up and dropped over the side. Vis on the surface was fair about 3m, but as we descended it just got worse down to 0.5m then it opened up to about 2m on the bottom, but very dark.

Managed to find a cuttlefish, a Wobbegong and an octopus. We didn't go more than 20m from the anchor.
