First dives of the new year took us to Annie M Miller and Old Man's Hat.
The anchor dropped on the north side of the boiler, and with the current form the north it hooked in first go. The visibility was great looking up from 30m we could see the boat above, it did drop a little on the wreck due to some turbidity. A lot of Nannygai covering the wreck made it very hard to get good photos. A few nice moray eels were out and about.
After dropping into Plunge Diving and dropping off some regulators for servicing. We headed over to Old Man's Hat. What way to start a new years diving than a new dive site, for me at least, Rudy has dived here before. This is a great site with depth ranging from 15m to 20m and the visibility here was around 15m. A lot of fish life, a few weedy sea dragons, a nice pair of cuttles and Wobbegong shark, a great dive.
