The plan was to meet Brian and Robert at Kurnell at 7:00am. Brian was there, so a quick call to Robert....mmm Voice mail. Left a quick "Where are you" and received a SMS back. "Sorry just woke up, dive without me". So we did

Well, my first shore dive for quite a while and the seas were up, the steps at Kurnell was washed out so we decided to go back to the Discovery centre and try an entry there.

After a bit of a tumble and getting washed around, and a lost snorkel, we (Brian and I) managed to get out past the breakers. We dropped down to 10 metres and boy, if we could see the end of our arms it would've been good.

Swimming around for a while the vis got to about 5m (Better than 0.5) we came across a wall at around 10m, it went on and on and on in a westerly direction. If you stand at the memorial and look out slightly north west you will see a pole about 50m from shore, it has a signal on top of it, the wall is about 15m past this point and runs for about 150-200m east west. It would be great if the vis was better.

Anyway you know what they say about diving, There is no such thing as a bad dive .....................................................
