Our plan today was to dive the SS Hilda and then duck over to Minmi Trench, but as we hit the site of the Hilda we noticed the seas were a little larger than the 0.5m forecast. At about 1.5-2.0m we decided to head back into Botany Bay.

Just inside inscription point behind the cliffs, the water was almost dead flat. We dived a little west of here last week. We dropped anchor and geared up.

This is my first dive with my new Inon Z-240 strobe.
After taking my first shot I could see that the quality of my photos was going to increase.

After dropping down to the bottom, checked the front anchor was secure and in 14m. (I took a photo of the back anchor, 1st shot with the strobe). We headed into deeper water to the sand line, about 20m and headed North West.

This is a fantastic dive site, lots of fish life and lots of small caves and overhangs.

On the second dive here, I had a very inquisitive cuttle fish trying to mate with my camera, I think Rudy got a couple of shots of it.
